Wassup in a Minute Prompt: Image and Motion Prompts to Copy

A wassup in a minute prompt in two steps: redraw a photo as the street character, then animate the head bop.

Last updated: 2026-11-01

You don’t need a prompt on this site: it does both steps from one photo, so you only upload the photo. To do it yourself in other AI tools, one wassup in a minute prompt isn’t enough, because the look and the motion are separate jobs. Step 1 is an image prompt that redraws a photo as an original 2D street character in the trend’s style. Step 2 is a motion prompt for an image-to-video model that adds the head bop. Both are below, ready to copy.

Step 1: the image prompt

Use an image model that edits from a reference photo, such as Google’s Gemini image model (nicknamed Nano Banana) or the image tool in ChatGPT. Upload one clear photo of one adult who agreed, knees-up or full body, then paste:

Redraw the person in the attached photo as an original 2D manga-style character. Keep their face shape, hairstyle, hair colour and skin tone exactly as in the photo, so the face is clearly theirs.
Full body, head to toe, standing centred in a relaxed three-quarter stance, feet flat on the ground.
Outfit: a black puffer jacket over an oversized white tee, a gold chain, a black belt with a plain silver buckle, skinny light-blue ripped jeans and white sneakers. One hand holds a fan of cash at chest height; the other arm hangs loose.
Style: semi-realistic proportions, clean ink lines, soft painted cel shading, a hand-drawn look.
Background: plain white. The figure is cut out like a sticker, with a soft grey drop shadow offset down and to the right.
Vertical 9:16 frame. The figure fills about 90% of the height, with the feet fully visible.
No text, no logos, no brand names, no watermark, no other people.

Tips:

  • Change the outfit freely (a bucket hat, a jersey, a crossbody bag), but keep the white background and the drop shadow: they make it read as the trend.
  • If the face drifts, add “Keep the face from the photo; change only the style and the clothes” and run it again.
  • Keep it original. Don’t name an anime character, an artist or a rapper; describe the character instead.

Step 2: the motion prompt

Use an image-to-video model that takes a start frame, such as Kling, Wan, Seedance or Hailuo. Set the still from step 1 as the first frame, choose 9:16 and a length of 5 to 10 seconds, and paste:

The character from the image does a head bop to a steady 135 BPM beat, a little over two bops a second.
The feet stay planted and never move. On every beat the upper body dips slightly and springs back up.
The hips and waist wobble loosely, like jelly, on each dip. Across the clip the whole body leans slowly to one side and back.
The arms and the fan of cash jiggle a little with each bop.
The face, the outfit, the drawing style, the white background and the drop shadow stay exactly the same.
Static camera: no zoom, no pan, no cuts. 2D animation. No walking, no footwork, no text.

Tips:

  • The model can’t hear your sound, so the bop won’t lock to the remix. If the dips drift off the beat, speed the clip up or slow it down a little in CapCut, or keep the take that lands best.
  • If the character walks, spins or the camera moves, repeat “the feet stay planted” and “static camera” at the end of the prompt.
  • If the drawing turns photoreal or the face changes, lower the motion strength if the tool has one, and keep “2D animation” in the prompt.
  • Expect a few takes and keep the best one.
  • Leave it silent and add the trend’s sound when you post: the song page shows how in TikTok, Reels and CapCut.

Why the result differs from the trend

  • The original is a puppet, not a generation. @aka_zayy drew each character once and @ristyisvalid warped the drawing; an AI video model redraws every frame, so lines can shimmer and the face can drift.
  • The beat: models don’t hear music, so their bops won’t sit exactly on the remix’s beat (about every 0.44 seconds).
  • The cut: Risty’s version runs four characters back to back, about 3.4 seconds each, with fades through white. A model makes one shot, so join several in CapCut.
  • The look: the original’s proportions and shading are one artist’s hand. A prompt gets the outfit and the setting right more easily than the drawing style.

This site does both steps for you from one photo, with the look and the moves already set: a 10-second 9:16 MP4 at 720p of one adult, redrawn with their face shape, hairstyle, hair colour and skin tone, doing the head bop on white (usually under 5 minutes, from $3.99). The how-to guide compares it with the CapCut templates and drawing your own.

What not to put in a prompt

  • Other people’s faces without their agreement, anyone under 18, or public figures.
  • Existing characters such as Blue Lock or Jujutsu Kaisen characters, or someone else’s drawing as the input: those belong to their creators.
  • The lyrics: describe the beat instead.

Label the finished video as AI-generated when you post. This site is not affiliated with the makers of the AI tools named here, or with CapCut, TikTok, or the trend’s creators @ristyisvalid and @aka_zayy.

Questions

Do I need a prompt to make a wassup in a minute video?

No. On this site the look, the outfit and the head bop are built in, so you only upload one photo.

Which AI tools can I use the wassup in a minute prompt in?

Any image model that edits from a reference photo for step 1, and any image-to-video model that takes a start frame for step 2. We wrote the prompts from the trend’s measured look and motion and haven’t run them in other tools, so expect a few takes.

Why doesn’t my AI video look like the trend?

Usually the motion. Video models add walking, dance steps or camera moves, and they can’t hear the beat. Keep the feet planted and the camera still in the prompt, and fix the timing in CapCut.

Can I put an anime character or a celebrity in the prompt?

No. Describe an original character and start from a photo of yourself or an adult who agreed. Existing characters belong to their creators, and many tools refuse real public figures.

Should I put the lyrics in the prompt?

No. A video model won’t sing or move to them in time. Describe the beat instead (135 BPM, a dip on every beat) and add the sound when you post.
