Wassup in a Minute Song: Drake’s From Time Jersey Club Remix

The wassup in a minute song is a jersey club remix of Drake’s From Time with Jhené Aiko. Here’s how to add it.

Last updated: 2026-11-01

The wassup in a minute song is a jersey club remix of Drake’s “From Time” (2013, from the album Nothing Was the Same), featuring Jhené Aiko. The words you hear are the opening of her verse: “What’s up? / Been a minute since we kicked it”. The remix is by the producer Zbee, who posted it on TikTok on Jan 14, 2026; it runs at about 135 BPM, and on TikTok it is the sound “from time jerseyclub prodzbee”. That is the track behind searches like “wassup been a minute since we kicked it”, “wassup in a minute wassup” (or “wass up in a minute”) and “wassup in a minute jersey club remix”.

The original song: Drake’s “From Time”

“From Time” is a track on Drake’s 2013 album Nothing Was the Same. Jhené Aiko sings the first verse, and its opening line, quoted above, is the hook of the whole trend. The full lyrics are on Genius.

The remix: Zbee’s jersey club flip

  • Who: the producer Zbee, @zburrz on TikTok, where he posted it on Jan 14, 2026 with “prod by me. out on YT and Soundcloud”. That post had 531.9K views by Oct 31.
  • YouTube: his upload from the next day is titled “[FREE] Drake x Jhené Aiko Jersey Type Beat ‘FROM TIME’” and described as “free for non profit”.
  • Spotify: on Oct 25, 2026 he posted that it is “Out on spotify!”.
  • The style: jersey club, the club music from Newark, New Jersey, chops a vocal into short repeated pieces over a fast, bouncing kick.
  • The tempo: about 135 BPM, one beat about every 0.44 seconds. That is the dip you see on every beat of the animation.
  • Speed: the trend uses it at normal speed. The audio on @ristyisvalid’s Oct 23 post matches the first 14 seconds of Zbee’s sound, not a sped-up edit.

The sound had a life before the anime version: dance videos from February (such as 5.sekou, 1.8M views) and a head-bop wave from Oct 5 (the biggest, rugrat_5, has 2.7M). The trend timeline has the rest.

Why it’s heard as “wassup in a minute”

The remix cuts Jhené Aiko’s first words into pieces and loops them over the beat, so “what’s up” and “minute” keep landing close together and the quick “been a” between them is easy to miss. Most ears fill the gap with “in”. Risty’s Oct 23 caption made that hearing the trend’s name, and his next posts played with others: “Wasala in a minute”, “Mosla in a minute”, “Wassup wait a minute”. More in what wassup in a minute means.

How to find the sound on TikTok

The trend runs on several copies of the sound, because Risty’s posts each carry their own “original sound”. Counts on Oct 31, 2026:

Other creators’ copies circulate too; one by QUAN was on about 29,500 videos. To use a sound, open its link on your phone (it opens in the TikTok app) or tap the sound name at the bottom of any wassup in a minute video, then tap Use this sound. You can also search TikTok’s sounds for “from time jerseyclub prodzbee”. On YouTube, people also look for “1 hour” loops and sped-up versions; the trend itself uses the normal speed.

Why our videos come without the song

Videos from this site come without any audio, on purpose:

  • The song isn’t ours. “From Time” and Zbee’s remix belong to their rights holders, so we don’t put them, or any other audio, in your file.
  • The sound page is where the trend lives. Added inside TikTok, the sound lists your post on that sound’s page, next to thousands of other videos. Music already saved into a file usually shows up as your own “original sound” instead.
  • You pick the version. Zbee’s sound or one of Risty’s, and the part of it you like.

How to add the song to your video

Use TikTok’s own sound rather than a file: open a wassup in a minute video, tap the sound name, tap Use this sound and upload your clip, or tap Add sound in the editor and search “from time jersey club”. Your post then also appears on the sound’s page. The steps for TikTok, Instagram Reels, CapCut and YouTube Shorts, and how to line the bop up with the beat, are in how to add the wassup in a minute sound.

When you’re ready, make your video from one photo. This site is not affiliated with Drake, Jhené Aiko, Zbee, @ristyisvalid, @aka_zayy, TikTok, CapCut, or the creators and publishers of Blue Lock or Jujutsu Kaisen, and it doesn’t sell, host or include their music.
